The Basic Occupational Safety and Health for Safety Officer 2 (BOSH SO2) Training was conducted from July 20-23, 2026 through a virtual training session, bringing together participants from various companies and industries. The training focused on developing participants’ competence in identifying workplace hazards, assessing and controlling risks, and applying appropriate occupational safety and health practices. Key topics included hazard identification and risk assessment, workplace safety programs, accident prevention, emergency preparedness, incident investigation, personal protective equipment, and the duties and responsibilities of a Safety Officer 2. Through online lectures, interactive discussions, practical activities, and industry-based examples, participants were able to enhance their understanding and apply OSH principles to different workplace situations. The virtual setup also encouraged participants from different organizations to exchange experiences, insights, and safety practices. Through the four-day training, participants gained valuable knowledge and skills to effectively support OSH programs and contribute to safer and healthier workplaces.
