Chemical Handling Safety Training is a 24-hour Training for health and safety officers, industrial hygienists, laboratory analysts, OSH practitioners and consultants, chemical handlers, and personnel handling the development of chemical safety programs who are currently working in the Philippines and who have completed the 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health or Construction Safety and Health Training. The training is designed to orient the participants on the different aspects of managing and promoting chemical safety and in developing their capability in implementing solution-oriented approaches on the safe use of chemicals. It will feature discussions on storage and handling, health effects, and classification of chemicals, GHS hazard communications, fire and explosion, waste management, operational control, emergency procedures and management of chemical control program.
